Privacy Policy
Last updated: 22 August 2026
This policy explains what personal data MulkStay collects when you use this website, request an income estimate, submit a property assessment, or engage us to manage a property in Egypt.
MulkStay is a property management service. We are the controller of the data described here unless a written management agreement says otherwise.
1. Data we collect
- Estimator inputs: location, property type, bedrooms, approximate size and finish level. These alone do not identify you.
- Assessment details: city or district, optional building or street reference, ownership status, authority to let, availability, owner-use weeks, documents you say you can provide, expected readiness works and any notes you add.
- Contact details: full name, email address, phone number and country of residence, provided when you request a detailed assessment or property management.
- Verification data: the one-time code issued to your email, the time it was sent, and whether verification succeeded.
- Ownership and property documents, when you choose to share them during onboarding.
- Technical data: IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring page, collected through analytics.
2. How we use your data
- To produce the illustrative estimate you requested and to show your preview.
- To review property eligibility, prepare a readiness checklist and follow up about management.
- To verify that a request comes from a reachable owner or authorised representative.
- To operate a property under a signed management agreement: listings, guest communication, maintenance coordination, statements and reporting.
- To meet legal, tax and regulatory obligations that apply to us in Egypt.
- To improve the website and understand which sections owners find useful, in aggregate.
3. Legal grounds
We process contact and assessment data on the basis of your request and, where a management agreement is in place, to perform that contract. Analytics and product improvement rely on our legitimate interest in running and improving the service. Where consent is required, we ask for it and you may withdraw it at any time.
4. Sharing
- Service providers that host the website, send transactional email and measure traffic, acting on our instructions.
- Booking channels and guests, limited to the listing information required to operate stays under a signed agreement.
- Contractors and maintenance suppliers, limited to what they need to complete approved work at your property.
- Authorities, when a valid legal or regulatory requirement applies.
5. Retention
Estimator inputs and unverified enquiries are kept only as long as needed to follow up, and are removed or anonymised when a request is closed. Owner records and documents connected to a signed management agreement are kept for the term of the agreement and for the period required afterwards by applicable law and tax rules.
6. Your choices
- Ask for a copy of the personal data we hold about you.
- Ask us to correct data that is inaccurate or incomplete.
- Ask us to delete data we no longer need to keep.
- Object to analytics or withdraw consent where processing relies on it.
- Ask us to stop contacting you about property management.
7. Security
Access to owner records and documents is limited to team members who need it to deliver the service. We use reputable hosting and email providers and review access as the team changes. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we do not claim any certification or audit result we have not completed.
8. International transfers
Our website hosting, email and analytics providers may process data outside Egypt. Where that happens, we rely on the provider's contractual safeguards for such transfers.
9. Contact
For any privacy request, write to privacy@mulkstay.com. Tell us which property or enquiry your request relates to so we can locate the record.
MulkStay is in a pilot phase. This policy is reviewed as the service and its providers change; the date above shows the last update.
